Dr. Nick Savastano has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontic care since 2003. He attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry where he received his dental degree. During his senior year, Dr. Savastano completed an advanced education honors program in orthodontics. He was also honored with the Stephen D. Keeling Research of Excellence award.Dr. Savastano is a board certified orthodontist with the American Board of Orthodontics.After graduating from dental school, Dr. Savastano completed his orthodontic residency and earned a Master’s of Science Degree in oral biology from Ohio Sate University, one of the top orthodontic schools in the country. During his orthodontic training, Dr. Savastano performed research on the validation of orthodontic outcomes, which has been published in The American Journal of Orthodontics.
An esteemed member of the dental and orthodontic community, Dr. Savastano stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field by maintaining memberships with many professional organizations such as the American Association of Orthodontics, the Southern Society of Orthodontics, the Florida Dental Association and the Orlando Dental Society.
Dr. Savastano is also a member of the Orlando Cleft Lip and Palate Team and the Arnold Palmer Craniofacial Team (click for video). He enjoys giving back to the
community by volunteering with both of these teams, and he has also co-authored a chapter in a surgical textbook on treating cleft lip patients.
Dr. Savastano and his wife, Jennifer, have been very busy with the newest additions to the family, Baby Nicholas and Baby Elliana who was just born November 2011.
